We chose to commute from Buendia via DLTB bus with a fare of Php 83.00 and dropped off at Olivarez Plaza where Tagaytay Country Hotel is located.
Tagaytay Country Hotel is one of the most accessible hotels in Tagaytay City, a perfect weekend staycation spot for family and friends. It is just behind Mc Donald’s Olivarez Plaza, E. Aguinaldo Hi-Way Tagaytay.
We spent 2 days and 1 night with great deals, which covered our stay in a Superior room (twin sharing) with dinner and breakfast meals, massage, and more from Metrodeal at a very affordable price.
Location
Tagaytay Country Hotel is very near to different places where you can eat and just a few-minute walk away from the market where you can buy souvenirs.
It is so accessible to commuters and near the top attractions of Tagaytay City. You can either rent a tricycle or ride a jeep that will pass through the attraction you want to visit.
Hotel Room and Facilities
This two-floor standard hotel has 68 rooms that can accommodate couples, families and large groups. You can choose from superior room, deluxe, studio deluxe, and economy rooms with basic room features such as cable TV, wardrobe, air-conditioning, telephone system connecting to the front desk for NDD/IDD, and smoke detector.
We stayed at their superior room with twin sharing bed. It has a pair of cups and saucers, and an electric kettle. It would also be great if they have either complementary coffee or tea for the guests. The hotel has a distilled water dispenser at the lobby where you can get water anytime.
The bathroom has hot/cold shower, toiletries and towels however it's not that clean, with broken tiles and molds.
You can have your meals served at their Country Cafe.
Enjoy a breakfast buffet consisting of bread, fruits, salad, cereal, hot chocolate, coffee and juice.
The hotel swimming pool’s size is enough to enjoy a dip and bond with your family and friends. There were no lifeguards within the area, so just make sure to look after your kids.
We were welcomed with a warm smile from the guard, receptionist, and as the hotel staff ushered us to our room. Every guest appreciated the friendly, professional staff who are dedicated to help and provide personalized service.
The hotel is a bit old and might need some renovation to make it more pleasant. However, you'll experience a grandeur of nature and a homey ambience at its finest and get satisfied with their welcoming staff service.
