Donut Doubt a Teacher, Happy World Teacher's Day!

As we celebrate World Teacher's Day this October 5th, a simple gift from a student will make them smile.

Happy Teacher's Day

I never thought of bringing something in school. However, my son has been reminding me since Monday that he wants to bring something for all his teachers. He would always love to share and give.

I always believed that its the thought that counts. So, I thought of something sweet but affordable that would show appreciation on Teacher's Day. I thought of donuts since my son loves donuts a lot. I bought premium donuts in a box from Dunkin Donuts.

I came to this donut appreciation gift. Thanks to Pinkheartstring for the free donut printable tags idea.

Teachers are the second parents of our children. It is right to show appreciation in anyways we can. We salute to all teachers for all your hard work and contribution to our children's education.

Happy World Teacher's Day!

Rizal Park: A Glimpse of Historic Landmark in Manila

Have you visited Rizal Park? It's good to see a historic landmark in Manila like Rizal Park also known as Luneta Park. Strolling in a large park with family is the best thing to do.

Let your kids learn and appreciate value by seeing a historical place like this not just in the book. It'll give them a glimpse of history where our National hero José Rizal was executed and get to know more about brave Filipinos in the gallery of heroes along the way.

Rizal Monument to commemorate the executed Filipino patriot, Jose Rizal.

Do you fall into #MalnutritionTraps? [Press Release]

The country has been facing the rise on the number of underweight and overweight Filipinos for more than 20 years. The World Health Organization (WHO) defined this phenomenon as the “Double Burden of Malnutrition” or the “prevalence of both undernutrition and overweight in the same community, nation, or region.”

To address this problem, our government launched the Pinggang Pinoy® campaign in 2014. Pinggang Pinoy® is an easy-to-understand food guide showing proper food group portioning on a per-meal basis. This reflects the principles of MOderation, VAriety and BAlance (MOVABA) to promote healthier eating habits.
