DIY Recognition Day Photo-Opt at Home Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the most significant milestone of every school to have a face to face graduation and recognition day ceremony.

Thursday, July 2, 2020, we received Neil's certificate, character traits, and academic excellence awards for S.Y 2019-2020. Amidst this pandemic, this is something to celebrate.

To provide a sense of "normalcy" and to show appreciation to our son's hard work. We had a DIY recognition photo-opt at home. I set up some balloons, DIY recognition displayed image on TV, cake, plus gift as his reward. Good job, and Congratulations, my son Neil!

I bought this NERF at a discounted price at the Toy Kingdom official store in Lazada. He always wanted to have this Elite Nerf because one of the Youtube channels he watches is ExtremeToys TV with Ethan & Cole Nerf Battle, and he wishes to play with them. However, it is impossible since those YT siblings are in the US, giving this Elite Nerf to him is the only thing we can.

We are proud of you son.

We always tell him, education is the only thing we can give, that no one can take away from him. Study and learn from the journey of life, continue to be diligent, and having grit will help you achieve your goals.
